Prior to OpenProject 5.0 the Rails-based work package full screen had the option to create a delay when creating a “precedes” or “follows” relationship.
This functionality was removed with OpenProject 5.0 but ideally should be re-implemented.
**User story**
**As a** project manager member **I want to** enter lag to follow/precedes relations handle planned delays / buffers between workpackages that have a precedes/follows relationship **so that** this is included in changes during the scheduling of process affect all following / preceding work packages. packages as well
**Acceptance criteria**
* The lag When a work package gets a start an finish date and a follower/precedes relation is shown in the relations tab for follow-preceds relations.
* The default is 0 days (unset).
* Users with the permissions "manage relations" place, I can edit define a fix buffer between the lag.
* The lag can work packages
