* Use Safari on a iOS system (e.g. iPhone 15pro)
* Go to admin → Time and costs → Cost types
* Press on "+ cost type"
* Enter name, unit, unit plural
* For rate history, enter any date using the native datpicker
* Enter any rate
* press Save
It seems as if the native date picker creates a date format that is not accepted.
