### Steps to reproduce

1. Install a OpenProject &nbsp;(e.g. Docker all-in-one) or create a trial instance (e.g. from [https://start.openproject-stage.com/trial](https://start.openproject-stage.com/trial) )

2. Login as administrator

3. Navigate to the _home_ page and click on the _Activity_ module in the left side menu.


### What is the buggy behavior?

* An error message is shown:

[Error 404] There are no visible projects in this instance.
```

* It is also shown when there are actual actitivies. You could set up new projects, add work packages, make comments etc. and would still receive the 404 error Begin of the insertionmessage.
