No work packages showing up in Relations menu
Added by F Alias about 6 years ago
Hello,
I am running OpenProject on an Ubuntu VPS. Great little piece of software.
Everything works great, except that I don't seem to be able to use the relations functionality. I have a project with a few tasks that need to depend on each other, but when I try to add a relation from the relations tab, the ID field does not show me a drop down of available work packages, nor am I able to enter the ID myself manually. The tick mark button to add the relation remains grey and unclickable.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I don't know but I'm having the same problem. However, I learned that if I know the ID number, then I can just type in the ID number and it works. I still can't get a list of all the tasks to choose from, but if I can enter the ID number I suppose I can get by with that. I'd be interested, however, if anyone can point me to a way to choose a work package for a relation from the list.
Are you guys already on OpenProject 8.1? Sounds like this bug here https://community.openproject.com/projects/openproject/work_packages/28639/activity.
How can I tell which version we are using? We are using the one hosted by OpenProject, the Enterprise version so that the whole class can work on and share a single project.
