SMTP mail not working

Hi, I am a newbie to OpenProject. I configured smtp.gmail.com for my openproject server. Attached is my settings. But I get "An error occurred while sending mail (execution expired)" error when I try "Send a test mail".

Any help is greatly appreciated. I am running this in Ubuntu 16.04
