Opening https links that automatically go to new tab

Right now, if you link a file in open project and then click to open it. That link consumes the current web page (open project) you are on. I have a request that all links that are open be defaulted to open in a new tab on your site.

This is an easy fix to the code, I’ve done it by just editing the code an inserting target=“_blank”. I would have to think most people want to be able to go back and forth to different pages while having Open Project still opened a tab.

Similar request from customer here. Where can I fix that in the code? Can you please specify the source file?

we opened a feature request for this: #28489.

Feel free to add your specific requests as comments to the work package. Please also comment on the work package that you are requesting this feature.

When enough people request this, we will implement it.
