How can I control which work package statuses in feature, bug, task and task board?
Added by Saimon Sam over 6 years ago
As administrator, I can add/edit/delete work package statuses from administration settings. But how can configure which statues are to be shown in feature, bug, task and task board?
For example, for bug & feature in progress status is not shown and Rejected status is shown. But I want to show in progress status but don’t want to show rejected status. (1.png)
For Task I want to show a custom status I have created. How can I do it? (2.png)
For Task board in backlog, I want to show a custom status I’ve created. How can I do that? (3.png)
Thanks,

Hello Saimon,
you can adjust which statuses are shown for features, bugs, tasks, etc. by selecting Workflow from the administration.
On the workflow screen, select the type (e.g. feature, bug, task) and the role of the users who should have the workflow (e.g. member, project admin). Also make sure to uncheck the option “Only display statuses that are used by this type”. Then click on the blue “Edit” button.
This will show a matrix with all the available statuses (including the newly created ones).
Make sure to set the correct status transitions: The rows show the current status (from), the columns the target status (to).
Click on “Save” to save the newly set status transitions.
To adjust the columns shown in the Taskboard, adjust the workflow for type “Task” (for all of the roles).

Thanks Robin. That indeed solved my problem.
