Sometimes not receiving email on task update

Hello,
On our self hosted OpenProject, my account is set to receive all email notifications “For any event on all my projects”.
Sometimes, for some projects, I have missed some email notifications when an other user had submitted a task comment.
Because we use email to notify clients and ourselves, we are now unsure wether we and our clients receive these updates.
Please advise how to proceed with this issue.
