Work package description cannot be edited

Hi everyone,

I can’t find any way to edit the description of my work packages (no matter who created them).

If I click on “update” I’m only able to change some other fields and add notes, but there’s no field where I could add a description (if it hasn’t been added on creation) or (if a description was given on creation) the existing description cannot be edited.

Am I doing something wrong or is there really no way to do this?

Hi Franzi,

I admit this is still a UX problem.

You need to click on the small arrow left to “change properties”.

We want to refactore the entire detail view. This is why we didn’t spend time on this UX-problem yet.

I am struggling with the same issue. Unfortunately I am not able to find this “change properties” drop down box.
Could you please give me a step by step how-to for me, I feel like a blind man ;)

Hi Bernd,

just open a work package, click on “Update” in the upper right corner and scroll down (see screenshots below):
