Hallo! Ich möchte gerne OpenProject unter MacOS installieren. Leider finde ich keinen entsprechenden Download. Auch finde ich bei Bitnami nur die Linux-Version.

Hallo Jo,

es gibt eine Installationsanleitung für OpenProject auf MacOS, die allerdings nur für Developer- (nicht Produktions)-Setup gedacht ist:

Für Produktionsinstallationen empfehlen wir die Installation via Deb/RPM auf Linux (ggf. in einer VM betrieben):

Hallo! Okay, danke für die Info! Hab damit leider noch nicht sonderlich viel Erfahrung.

Worin besteht eigentlich der Unterschied zur Bitnami-Installations-Methode? Wobei ich hier derzeit auch nur die Linux-Version finde.

Hallo Jo,

Bitnami stellt eine Installationsalternative dar. Der Bitnami-Installer für OpenProject wir unabhängig vom OpenProject-Team herausgegeben, daher ist der Installer manchmal nicht auf der aktuellen OpenProject-Version.
Auch können wir für die Bitnami-Installation keine Gewährleistung übernehmen.
Daher empfehlen wir die Bitnami-Installation eher zum Testen, während die RPM/Deb Pakete jeweils auf dem aktuellen Stand sind und für Produktionseinsatz empfohlen werden.

Bitnami hat früher mal Installer für MacOS, Linux und Windows angeboten. Allerdings traten bei den Nicht-Linux Installern viele Fehler auf. Daher wurde dies reduziert auf den Linux-Installer. Die Dokumentation scheint dort nicht auf dem aktuellen Stand zu sein.
