yes, you can use the “incoming emails” feature to create work packages (e.g. tasks, bugs) via email.
This is automatically activated in the Cloud Edition.
you can use these options by sending an email to OpenProject.
To update a work package (e.g. adding a comment), simply reply to a work package notification and enter your comment.
OpenProject will then automatically process your email and add the comment.
You can define a separator after which your email should be ignored. You can define this in the administration (“Administration” > “System settings” > “Incoming emails” tab).
To create work packages you can send an email to the email address you get when you receive a notification (notifications+….@openproject.com).
Provide information such as project etc. directly in the email body.
