SMTP and smtp_verify_mode=none
Added by Gregor Buergisser almost 7 years ago
Hi All
I’m trying to configure OP to use our inhouse Exchange-Server for e-mail notifications.
Logged in as admin, in the System Settings I’ve set all fields in the “Configure your email provider” section appropriately. Sending the test e-mail doesn’t work. I’m always getting the error “hostname ”exch.xxxx.xx" does not match the server certificate" which is obviously so.
So now I want to set the smtp_openssl_verify_mode=none option. How can I do this?
There is now such option in the web frontend where I set up the email provider. I have already tried to set this option using “openproject config:set SMTP_OPENSSL_VERIFY_MODE=none” but to no avail. Also directly modifying the configuration.yml file doesn’t help (where is the correct place to configure this anyway?).
I’m running OP 7.3.2 Community Edition on CentOS 7, installed from RPM.
Thank you so much for any help
Gregor
