Possible to Assign Tasks to Groups

Is it currently possible to assign a task to a group either as the assignee or responsible party. I am trying to understand how to keep groups of people involved updated on status changes and allow for the person most available to claim a task.

Hello.
If that group is a member of a project with a role that allows it to own packages you can do it as assignee.
I’ve never tried to add a group to the responsible party but don’t know why it wouldn’t work.

Thanks, and yes you can assign the group to the responsible party which is useful when a project impacts a leadership team but is being worked on by another group.
