Backup/Retore File Locations

Added by ashley shone over 7 years ago

Hi Sorry if this is not the correct location.

I have search the forum and support docs but cannot seem to find what I need.

I can generate a back using openproject run backup.

I have the 4 back up files it creates.

I have found where the attachments, svn and git files go back.

but I just cannot figure out where the config files go, I found a post stating RAILs_ROOT/config.

which is great, but I don’t know what this is or where to find it.

I am not new to Linux, but know nothing about ruby (which I think RAILs_ROOT is to do with)

I am looking to move to from Hardware to VM and and the same time migrate from v5.019 to v7.

but seem to be stuck at the first hurdle.

any advice or pointing at a step by step back up guide would be massively appreciated.

thanks in advance.
