Work Packages not Displaying for all Projects
Added by Jim Joseph about 7 years ago
Running v.7.2.3 for multiple projects.
Everything working great until this morning. Now OpenProject just hangs when we click on Work Packages.
It shows loading but never loads (see attached pic). Same thing for all other projects. Other functionality like Timelines and Overview work fine.
Restarted apache. Reboot server. Yelled really loud. Nothing helps.
Please advise.

Hey Jim,
do you see an error message in your browser’s console when this happens?
If so, can you include it in your screenshot and share it?
Do you remember if you did anything differently before the error occurred?
Does the error occur for all users / in different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, etc.)?
Which installation type did you go for (Packager, Docker, manual)?
We did not encounter this error yet but we will release OpenProject 7.3 very soon. If the error does not get resolved before (temporary issue) the upgrade to the new version may fix it (even though we did not get complaints about this error from other users using 7.2.3 so it may well be specific to your setup or caused by some other issue outside of OpenProject itself).
Best,
Robin
Thanks for prompt response!
I attached the console screenshot. Do not recall any changes since last night. Did a manual install initially with no problems and has been working until this morning.
Same issue for multiple users as follows:
PC-Chrome-Standard: Does not load
PC-Chrome-Incognito: Does not load
PC-Internet-Explorer: Loads fast!
PC-Edge: Does not load
PC-Firefox: Does not load
PC-TOR Browser: Does not load
PC-Safari: Does not load
MAC-Safari: Loads fast!
MAC-Chrome-Standard: Does not load
Hi Jim,
thanks for the screenshot.
It seems that the problem is unrelated to OpenProject.
Apparently, there is a module (Rocket Loader Module) in Cloudflare that may cause this problem (see https://stackoverflow.com/questions/39610829/a-parser-blocking-cross-origin-script-is-invoked-via-document-write-how-to-ci).
If you disable it for OpenProject, this may do the trick.
Best,
Robin
It worked!
Thanks so much Robin. Really appreciate your prompt responses.
