Using the backlog plugin for combined scrum of subprojects
Added by Michael Mell about 7 years ago
I am evaluating OP for using it at work.
Right now, I am trying to use the backlog plugin to create backlogs and such for multiple subprojects of a common parent project.
The problem I am having is that the tasks/work packages from the subprojects are not being shown in the backlog of the common parent project.
Here is what I tried:
- I created some work packages/tasks in the subprojects.
- I created a version in the “Project Settings” of the parent project and set “Sharing” to “With Subprojects” (I also tried all other settings).
- I then set the version for some of the work packages/tasks in the subprojects to the version I created in the parent project.
- Now I would have expected the workpackages to show up in the backlog-view of parent project. Unfortunately this is not the case.
Am I doing something wrong or is this just not possible?!
Thanks and best regards,
Michael

Hi Michael,
currently backlogs only show the work packages in the current project.
At the moment, you need to use the work package list to show work packages from other projects.
There is however a feature request to change this: .
Some community members are working on this.
