Budget from Parent Project applied in Subprojects?

Greetings,
I’m trying to set up OpenProject for a number of our commercial projects, and have run into a slight issue.

We have one contract in which we’re developing a number of applications for a client. We have an overall budget that multiple projects, which I’ve entered as subprojects of the client project, need to abide by.

I would like to be able to apply a Budget from the Parent Project to Work Packages in Subprojects, so these aggregate into the Parent Project management.

If this isn’t possible currently, has anyone worked out a clever work-around? At the moment I’m considering having a “App X cost tracking” task in a Management phase for the Parent Project, and applying the costs from the corresponding subproject manually, but I’m not keen on this due to the risks inherent in duplicating information.
