how to make global_basic_auth work?

Added by Jaison Mathew about 6 years ago

I saw somewhere that there is an option for giving api authentication username and password as global_basic_auth in configuration.yml file in config folder. How can this be done? I tried editing the file and calling the api with basic auth using the credentials given in the file. But it does not work.

Please see the similar question on stackoverflow

If that does not work, it would be helpful to have more details on what kind of problems you encounter.
