OP performance

Added by Master Zen over 7 years ago

Hi.

I have a problem with performance on ver. 7.2.1. When I use edit on tasks, I have to wait a while before field is ready for edition.
This is a new installation with Postgrsql DB on CentOS 7. I made a vacuum on db but it didn’t help.

Do have any suggestions? What should I check and change.

Thanks

Hi,

1. from which version did you perform the upgrade?

2. Do you have a project with lots of custom fields, types, or other attributes? Could you check the Network tab of the developer console for the duration of the ‘/api/v3/work_packages/:id/form’ ?

When you click on edit fields, the work package’s form resource has to be loaded first, so the frontend knows what values are allowed / default.

Best,
Oliver

Hi

Thanks for quick reply ;)

1. I have upgraded from ver. 4.0
2. Because I’m newbie in OP, could You write how to open developer console? As we talk about custom fields, yes, projects have many of that fields. One o them has 5000 records.

Best,
Zen
