Hi,

I’m trying to figure out how to set a set of projects public for a certain group. Members of department A should all have access to the projects that are associated with that department.

I created:

- a project “Projects of A” with sub projects A1, A2, …

- a group “Department A” with all members of that department
- a role “project member” and added this role to the group “Department A” for the project “Projects of A”.

My expectation was that each member of Department A would have access to A1, A2, … as well. However, this was not the case :-( The users only have access to the top level project but not to its sub projects.

Is there a way to achieve this? Probably by using the “public” option? Or the system roles “anonymous” and “non member”?
