Wow every Link “Read more” is broken on the release notes …

Hi Jan,

the links should work correctly but in case you cannot access them from the release notes here is the list of new features:

  • New integrated Gantt chart / timeline
  • Display hierarchies in work package list
  • Attribute group configuration for work package types
  • Filter based on date in work package list
  • New header navigation
  • Archive and delete projects from project settings
  • Zen-mode on work package page
  • Multi-select custom fields (Enterprise / Cloud Edition)
  • Logo upload and custom color scheme (Enterprise / Cloud Edition)

So very exciting features to look forward to :)

They are working now, thx for the update ;)

I’m also very excited about the changes. But for me, the most importand thing is still missing.

Auto reminder: Send a E-Mail if a task gets close to end date.

If you work on a project where not everybody is looking into OP every day this is a very very needed function. Is this still a thing on your list ? Its hanging around like 2 years now …

OpenProject is open source. Nothing and nobody stops you to develop the features you need. Your contributions are very welcome.

Hi Jan,

I’d like to have a linked custom field list, a sort of tree…
For instance,

CustomField1 =[A,B,C]
CustomFIeld2 (linked to A) = [D,E,F]
CustomField3 (linked to B) = [G,H,I]

so if I select “A” from CustomField1 I can select only [D,E,F] from CustomField2 (disabling CustomField3)
and if I select “B” from customField1 I can select only [G,H,I] from CustomFIeld3 (disabling CustomFIeld2) and so on.

There is a scheduled task for that?
I’d like to partecipate in development…

This feature could be very useful for implementing a sort of tree work pacages catecorization.
In this way you can extract work packages with a strong categorization for analytics stuffs.
