LDAP authentication - email attribute

Added by Manolis Spanoudakis almost 8 years ago

Hello everybody,
I have successfully configured “LDAP authentication” and my Active Directory Users are able to Sign in.
The first time they try to sign in, they have to fill in their e-mail address because the e-mail information isn’ stored in my Active Directory (I have a Zimbra mail server).
An easy way to fetch email information is to manually complete the missing email information to AD and set Email = mail.
Is it possible to combine Active Directory attributes with a standard text in order to auto fill the email attribute for my users?
For example:
Email = sAMAccountName + @mydomain.com

regards, Manolis
