When we change assignee on a work package, it would make sense that the assignee should receive emails notifying them of their assignment. That isn’t happening.
I’ve checked all of the email settings I can think of and can’t find something I’ve missed.
Any ideas?

Just to clarify, watches are receiving their emails fine.

be aware that the user herself can change which kind of eMails she receives. You find these settings in My Account.

Even if you are set to receive all notifications, no email is seemingly sent when you are assigned a task.

OK, then here are two more points to check:
delayed_jobs
table,There may be other settings to check but those are the most obvious that come to my mind right now.

I have 670 records in delayed_jobs.
How do I get these messages to send?
Fixed it by running
I must have missed an installation step but I don’t recall seeing any instructions for this.

I do see that it mentions delayed job there, so it’s probable that I just got too excited that I could finally login that I didn’t continue down the page.
