I’d like my users to be able to turn off email notifications for forum discussions and some project updates. But if we do that we need another way to altert someone that their attention is needed.

It would be great if when someone posts something with an username in the text, it emails the user with a link so they can come in and check it out. So for example if we needed bclinton’s attention, Bill would get an email in this case.
