Meeting: iCalender notification cannot be sent

Hi,

when trying to send an iCalender invitation from a meeting I created, I get the message “Failed to send notification. The following recipients could not be notified: [User Names]”.

After ecxecuting openproject logs --tail, I see something like:

E, [2017-01-03T11:10:10.512715 #17764] ERROR — : Failed to deliver icalendar_notification notification to [mail address]: undefined method `strftime’ for 2017-01-19
Did you mean? strip

What could be the issue? Mail notification in general works fine, just this feture bugs..

I’m seeing the same problem. Has anyone been able to fix this?

For reference, this is OpenProject 6.1.5, installed using the Debian package on Debian jessie (stable).

Hi Ahmad,

this error should have been fixed with OpenProject 6.1.5: .

Since it still occurs for you, could you add the specifics of your error as a comment to the work package (#24445)?
