Can't change "Status" field of a work package

New to Openproject and using the (free) cloud version at the moment. I created several work packages and all have status “new”.
When I try to change them the drop-down list shows no other options (only “new”), yet there are many many others defined on the project
Please help !

Hi Patrick,

the workflows are defined per role and type. So I suggest to check the following things:

  • What is the role of the user in the respective project?
  • What is the workflow for this role with the respective type (Administration -> Wokflows).

Thanks Niels. Apparently I had no role in the project, which is kind of strange as I created all projects and all tasks myself.
I seem to have to set my role project per project. Is there a way to give a user a ‘default’ role for all projects ?
Also there seems to be no inheritance of the role from parent to sub-projects. Is that correct ?
