Hi,

I’m trying to add externals like contractors to a project, but only for work packages they are assigned to. This way I can ask for information, a quote or whatever and the request and response of the external is added to the work package. I don’t want them to see all other activities and work packages in the project.

I’ve created a new Role for this purpose and only selected Edit Work packages. I’ve added this role to a user, made him a project member and assigned some tasks to this user.
Logged in as this user I see the project and surprisingly news (the user can even add news. although no rights are set for that) but I can’t see any work packages assigned to this user.
If I add rights for ‘View work packages’, all work packages are visible. Not only the ones he is assigned to.

Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible
