Cannot save workflow, status, package types, work package list

Added by chris p almost 9 years ago

Odd problem. I am working with Open Project 6.0 using a standalone install on my local computer.

I am attempting to alter the appearance of the informartion presented. The default value are not working for me so I need to change a number of settings. The thing is when I go to save the settings the new settings are not saved and the default settings remain.

Take for example the Workflow settings.

1. I first navagate to the administration page. -> Then select workflows -> Then select TASK.
2. I see a Role called Member with type called Task. I click on the “Edit” button or not… I tried both… This button does nothing.
3. I then scroll down to the section titled “ADDITIONAL TRANSITIONS ALLOWED WHEN THE USER IS THE AUTHOR” I open the window and click on “Check all’
4. I then scrll down again to the section titled ” ADDITIONAL TRANSITIONS ALLOWED WHEN THE USER IS THE ASSIGNEE". For this one I check all but uncheck the closed option, as I do not want the asignee to be allowed to close a task.
5. Finally I click on the Save button.
6. The page automatically refeshes. When I check to see if the two sections have changed the values selected are the same as the default. My changes did not get saved.

This issue has happened on a number of other pages.

1. I attempted to reorder the columns on the workpage list….That did not save.
2. I attempted to assign new types of “Status” value… That did not save.

This is very weird becuase I can create new users, projects, versions, custom fields and other changes which are being saved.

Is there a place on the site that specifies what the ADMINISTRATOR can and cannot change? This is a weird “feature/bug”.

Any help would be great.

Chris
