Wiki Feature Request: ability to present data from database lookup

We’d like to have a (set of) wiki pages which shows information currently held in tables in a SQL database. Is there a way to do this today ?

If not, is anyone aware of an initiative that will support this ?

Alternatively, is there an API that would let us periodically upload a pre-generated Wiki page ?
