[SOLVED] Unable to edit work package description and attributes

We are unable to edit work package descriptions or change attributes within our projects. When we try to change an attribute or the description in the work pakcage view and click the “accept” button below that field, all fields are greyed out, the mouse turns into the waiting symbol and no changes are made to the work package.

I have restarted our server and looked into the apache and openproject logs, but there are no hints on this issue.

It’s strange, because it worked flawlessly during the past year. We use OpenProject in Version 5.0.7.

Does anyone have an idea what may cause this behaviour? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hello Peter,

it is possible that there was a temporary bug in 5.0.7.
I’d recommend you upgrade to the current stable version (5.0.19) for the latest bug and security fixes.

Hello Robin,

thank you for your good (and fast!) advice. I could not find a matching item in the release notes but I updated to the newest version and it works flawlessly now. Thank you for your help!
