Timeline progress review
Added by Jörg Panthöfer over 8 years ago
Hello,
one of the most important basic functions for a project management software is in my view the gantt chart.
In the timeline of OpenProject each task is very clearly represented by one row. The columns represent the days, weeks or months. The estimated time of a task is indicated by a horizontal bar.
However, the following two features I miss unfortunately at the timeline of Open Project:
1) With increasing progress of a task, the bar should be proportional filled color to his execution degree. But at least should be addable a Progress column.
2.) If follow tasks successive, lacks the optical connection by an arrow between the tasks.
I would be very happy if these two functions are included in the next version of Open Project.
Best regards

Hi Jörg,
makes sense. We currently analyse how we can integrate the existing work packages module with the timelines view. I will add this idea to the idea backlog.
