is there a mailing list or some other medium where I can subscribe to be informed about security fixes or new releases? Maybe a moderated subforum with announcements?
the easiest way to stay informed about releases and important information is via social media (Twitter, Facebook, Google+).
You could for example follow OpenProject on Twitter: https://twitter.com/openproject.
Major releases are also announced via newsletter. (To subscribe to the newsletter you currently need to create an account on https://login.openproject.com/accounts/new).
Thanks for the info about the twitter account, that might work for me. The RSS feed of the blog unfortunately seems to be broken, I’ve already filed a bug report for that.
