Assigning Versions to Work packages

Added by Owen Barritt over 9 years ago

Are there any limitations to the versions you can assign to work packages?

I’m finding on a few work packages, when I select a version it reverts back to what it was previously when I save (any other changes I make stick, but there doesn’t appear to be an error to say why the version was an issue).

Hello Owen,

do all the versions have the status “open”?
When a version is “locked” or “closed” it cannot be assigned any work packages.
However, in this case the version should not be displayed in the version dropdown menu.

Do you use the current OpenProject version (5.0.16)?
Could you provide additional steps to reproduce the error?
