Error in upload files

When you upload a file I am getting the message frequently and the file is not attached.
The print shows the message.

Hi Douglas,

can you check the maximum allowed file size for attachments?
It may be that the attachment exceeds the maximally allowed file size.
You can configure this in the administration (Administration > System settings > tab “General”).
The option “Attachment max. size” defines the allowed file size in kB:

I put a higher value but the problem continues.

Hi Douglas,

can you provide some additional information, such as

  • Which OpenProject version do you use?
  • Do you use the cloud version or do you host OpenProject yourself?
  • What kind of file do you try to upload? What is the file size?
  • Can you upload the attachment to wiki pages or does the same error occur there as well?
  • Does this error occur only occur for certain file types or for all attachment?
  • (1 - 3/3)
