Exported PDF won't open in OSX Preview app

Added by Terry Fried about 9 years ago

In my work packages list, I exported the work packages as PDF.

When I use the Preview app on my Mac, it says the file can’t be opened, that it might be damaged or is in a format the app doesn’t understand.

However, I can open the same file in Windows, using PDFxchange.

Does anyone else get the same issues on OSX?

Thanks in advance.

This bug is already reported, as you can see here

Hey Marc, Terry,

thanks for the confirmation. We couldn’t quite figure out the reason for this malfunction and Preview.app is not really communicative on the errors it spews out, but I’ve raised the relevant bug to 5.0.17 since it seems to affect all El Capitan users.

Best,
Oliver
