Bulk Edit Work Packages Error

Hi there,

We are using OpenProject in our company and we detected a situation regarding the Bulk Edit Packages. We cannot change the “Parent” relation of tasks as you can see in the files we attached.

Any of the other elements such “type” , “priority” works fine but the “parent” edition doesn’t work.

Is anyone familiar with this error?

thanks for your message.
I checked this behavior in OpenProject 5.0.15 and I could properly assign a parent.
The field is a little misleading since it is not possible to remove a parent using bulk edit but setting a different parent worked properly for me:

Is it possible that the parent work package you assigned was a milestone and can therefore have not child work packages?
Did it work when setting the parent individually (instead of using bulk edit)?

Hello,

Thank you for the quick response, i noticed that you added through the Work Package ID, i was trying in other way. I already tried to add by the Work Package ID and it was successful.

I would like to ask if you’re going to develop the List box functionality, like the other fields in the same form. It would be a nice feature to be able to search for the Work Package by Description.
