Hello,
I have checked OpenProject Demo and I have some questions to make sure if its suitable with our company requirements or not. I tried to check it in demo but I failed
So here it is:
2- Is is available to see Critical Path for tasks for each project More about it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Critical_path_method
3- Tasks Dependency which is mean I can create tasks dependent on another tasks and I can’t start working on it without finished the dependent tasks first.
4- I can see that sub tasks are available and I like it but the dates of sub tasks isn’t synced with parent task eg. parent date start date is 2/1/2016 and due date is 2/3/2016 and sub tasks accepts a start date 5/2/2016.
5- Can I force the user to add a comment when he change the status of task ?
6- In Reports is there is any graph reports other than Gantt Chart eg: Projects Status - Resource Allocation
7- I was checking for a plugin that can creates a minutes of meeting. Do you have any suggestion for that ?

Regarding your questions:
2. Currently, it is not possible to display dependencies between work packages / tasks in the work packages list (and therefore it’s not possible to directly show the critical path). You can however display information such as Estimated time, Start date and Due date (can be shown as columns in the work package list). By filtering e.g. for the due date of work packages (e.g. all work packages due within 30 days) you can get an overview of the most time critical tasks.
3. There are several work package dependencies you can create in OpenProject. You can see and enable those when opening a work package and selecting the “Relations” tab. The available dependencies and their effect are as follows:
Based on your description, the Blocks / Blocked by relationship would be the best option to prevent users from completing blocked tasks prior to finishing current tasks.
4. Currently, the start and end dates of child work packages (e.g. tasks) determine the start and end date of their parent work packages: The earliest start date of a work package’s children determine its start date and the latest due date of its children determine the due date of the parent work package. There is currently no option to deactivate this behavior.
5. It’s not possible to enforce a comment when changing the status. This is due to the fact that sometimes status changes need to be made without comments, for instance when the context of the status change is self evident or when a user already entered a comment and forgot to update the status. However, activities shown on the work package page and the corresponding email notifications are aggregated: Changes (e.g. status updates and comments) made within a short time frame (around 5 minutes) are combined to a single activity entry and send via email. If you forgot to add a comment while changing the status, users will still receive the email update with your status change and comment as long as you add the comment within the time frame.
6. Within OpenProject, there is currently only a Gantt chart available. If you need other reports (e.g. line diagrams, bar charts, cycle time diagrams, cumulative flow diagrams) you take a look at the TaskConnector for PowerPoint which is a PowerPoint add-in that allows the creation of multiple different reports based on your OpenProject data. Especially, if your organization uses PowerPoint for meetings or management reportings, this tool can be very helpful. You can find more information and download the PowerPoint free of charge on the TaskConnector page.
7. The meetings plugin (which is included in the OpenProject demo environment) is able to create agendas and minutes. After creating / completing an agenda you can select “Close” above the agenda field. This will close the agenda and open the minutes. The minutes are created based on the agenda. Typically, you would close the agenda at the beginning of a meeting (to show the minutes) and then enter results and to dos in the minutes. After completing the minutes you can send them via email for review to the participants and invitees of the meeting. Those users receive an email notification with a link to the meeting.
