Can we set Sort work packages by Parent - Ascending as default?

Hi all,

Is there a way to set Work packages sorting by Parent + Ascending as default instead of Descending? The current setting is very annoying when by default parent WP are sorted by Parent descenting while child WP are sorted ascending. The Save/Save as feature does not keep this setting, and I don’t really know what that Save/Save as is for.

It would be great if the work packages UI display work packages in the same order as the Timelines UI.

Hi Anh,

the default sorting order cannot be configured in OpenProject.
You could alternatively create and save a work package filter with the changed sorting order (and for instance add it to the side menu for quick access).
