[solved] Group by assignee -> Shows more than one group per assignee

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with grouping work packages.
When I go to work package overview and select “Settings” -> “Group by …” -> “Assignee” I expected only 1 group per assignee.
Instead some names are shown twice or more often. For every diffent author of assigned work packages I get a new entry.

E.g.:

[+] Paolo (3)
[+] Karl (1)
[+] Mike (2)
[+] Paolo (3)
[+] Mike (2)
[+] Paolo (3)

[-] Paolo (3)
Work package 1 - Author Paolo
[-] Karl (1)
Work package 2 - Author Paolo
[-] Mike (2)
Work package 3 - Author Paolo
[-] Paolo (3)
Work package 4 - Author Mike
[-] Mike (2)
Work package 5 - Author Mike
[-] Paolo (3)
Work package 5 - Author Karl

Is there any way to have only 1 group per user?

thanks for your post.
Does this behavior still occur in the latest OpenProject version (5.0.13)?
I could not reproduce this on 5.0.13: The grouping was always based on the assignee - independent from the author:

Hi Robin,

thanks for your answer.
My bad I did not tell we are still running on 4.2.
Hopefully we will soon be able to update to the latest version.
Good to know this issue will be solved than.
