Relationship of story points between children and parent.

I am just getting starting using the latest version of OP.

In my Work Packages, I created a couple of Tasks and assigned them Story Points. I made these Tasks children of a User Story. I expected/hoped that the Story Points of the children would be reflected in the Story Points of their parent User Story. I have a couple of User Stories set up this way and these User Stories are children of an Epic. The Epic is assigned to a Version.

I would like to see the Story Points of children automatically added to their parent. This would be really helpful so I don’t have always adjust the Story Points of the parent every time I add a child.

Is there a setting I am overlooking or is this not possible in OP?

Hi Corey,

thanks for your message.
This appears to be a bug. It used to story points for the parent work package were calculated based on the sum of story points of its child work packages.
The issue is tracked in #22545.
