Limit User to View only Bug Work Packages

We are using OpenProject 5 at work, and my boss wants to give access to a client to their project but only wants them to see Work Packages of type ‘Bug’. Is there a way to accomplish this with OpenProject?

I don’t see a way to limit what work packages a user can see. Is this possible?

Hello Joseph,

there is currently no way to limit which types of work packages can be seen by users in a project. It is possible to generally limit which users can see work packages (using the permission “View Work Packages”). The only way to accomplish this currently would be to have a separate project in which only type “bug” is activated (possibly as a parent project to the projects you use currently so that if you go to this project you can display work packages in the sub project and thereby see both the bugs (in the current project) and the other work package types (in the sub project). - Clients would then only get access to the parent projects (with type “bug” activated) while internal users get access to both.)
