Possible final step on Upgrade to 5.0

Added by Enson Barker over 9 years ago

Hi

The final version looks beautiful, nice work!, however, I was upgrading from 4.2.9
and had to remove the openproject-ce.conf from /etc/apache2/sites-enabled in order to start apache,

maybe it’s me maybe not but i think is worth mention it.

I’m using Debian 7.6 Wheezy 64bits

this is the error y was having while runing the reconfigure | configure command:

apache2: Syntax error on line 268 of /etc/apache2/apache2.conf: Syntax error on line 1 of /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/openproject-ce.conf: Include directory '/etc/openproject-ce/addons/apache2/includes/server' not found
Action 'configtest' failed.
The Apache error log may have more information.

 failed!

regards

Hey Enson,

the 4.2 -> 5.0 (CE) upgrade guide contains a step to disable/delete the old configuration.

Would this have solved your issue , or did we miss a step?

Best,
Oliver
