Hello,
in order to determine the man hours as well as the associated personal and unit costs you can use the costs plugin.
There is not yet a dashboard view which shows the information you mention across all projects but you can display some information (such as the number of work packages and subprojects of a project) on the project overview (by adding the widgets “Work package tracking” and “Subprojects”).
thanks but using cost plugin caan we create such sort of reports for all projects in the system ??
Yes, you can create cost reports across all projects.
To do this, select “Module” from the header navigation and select “Cost reports” from the dropdown menu.
There you can apply various filters to specify the results you want to display.
By default, the results for all projects are displayed (which have the “Time tracking” module activated (otherwise it’s not possible to track / display time)).
However, you can use the “Project” filter to limit your results to specific projects - if you want.
And how to declare a project as completed, In progress just like work packages. As there is no option to projects except archieve ad delete. ??
In order to completely “close” a project, you would need to archive or delete it.
However, you can declare a project’s status between projects using so called “Status reportings”.
The available project statuses can be defined in the administration: Select “Enumeration” in the side menu and create a project status in the section “reported project status”.
You can then define a status reporting from one project to another by navigating to a project, making sure that the module “Timelines” is activated and then selecting “Status reportings” from the side menu.
Then, you can select which project you want to report to and assign a project status.
The project status is displayed in the timeline of the project to which the status is reported.
