It seems that I don’t have the capability to create issues in my forum. Its curious that I state that given that I am actually posting in this forum, so I suspect a configuration issue. Can anyone point me in a direction that might help. Thanks in advance

Hello Mike,
the permission to post messages in a forum can be given via a role in “Administration” > “Roles and permissions”.
To let any user who has an account on your instance post a message in the forum you need to select the role “Non member” and assign it the permission to “Post messages”.
However, you should not get an internal error.
Do you use the latest OpenProject version (OpenProject 4.2.8)?
Which installation method did you use (e.g. manual or packager)?
Could you post the error you get in you logfile?
