Not possible to show work packages from subproject in main Timeline Project

Hi there,
I already install and configure OpenProject and now discovering features.
I’m just surprised, that I am not able to show in the timeline of the main project workpackages from SubProjects. Its not necessary to have Timeline modules in every subproject.
Is is possible to configure this somehow or its against the philosophy of OP?

Hi Karol,

yes, it’s possible. You have to consider two precondition:

  1. You have to be member of the respective project and subproject.
  2. You have to create a reporting relation within the subproject to the project you want to report in:
    Go to -> Status reportings -> add the respective project where you want to display the information

I was configuring reporting relationship in opposite way, just did not read carefully captions :(.

is it possible to show created Meeting from Meeting Plugin in Timeline or in Calendar?

this is not possible yet. I think this is a valuable feature, I have created a new user story for this requirement:
