Remove Modules from Login Page
Added by Joseph Bassett about 9 years ago
Just setup Open Project. So I need to do a little maintenance first.
Can anyone tell me how to remove the “Modules” section of the main page someone sees Before ever logging in to the system?
It seems sloppy to show potentially internal data to the outside world and would need to disable it before ever using internally.
Thanks.
Joe

Hi Joe,
can you please add a screenshot? I am not sure if I understand you correctly?

Attached. See the “Modules” in the upper left part of the screen that appear even if no one has yet logged in? I think the more corporate way would be for it to have no information there at all. Also, how do I remove “Create Account” from this “Not Logged In Yet Screen?” AND….“Search.” Why on earth, respectfully would I ever want someone not in my system that houses very sensitive projects to see things like this (regardless of whether it “does” anything or not, that is mute)?
Hi Joe,
thanks for reporting the menu bug. It is furthermore handled by
.
You can make the “Create Account” link disappear if you go to [your OpenProject install path]/settings/edit?tab=authentication and set “Self-registration” to “disabled”.
Kind regards
