the projects on the same hierarchy level are ordered alphabetically.
To change the order, you could prepend numbers or letter to the project names (e.g. 01_FirstProject, 02_SecondProject, 03_ThirdProject, 04_FourthProject).
thanks.
The problem is that the projects are on different hierarchy levels.
For instance “Moby” is the parent project of “10_…” and “20_…”. The projects are sorted alphabetically but only on the same hierarchy level (otherwise it would not be possible to see which projects are subprojects of another project).
If all the projects were on the same level (e.g. no subprojects exist), they would all be sorted alphabetically.

Hi Paolo,
that’s weird since it works for me.
Do you use an older OpenProject version?
Could you post a screenshot / an example of your project list?
Best regards,
Robin
Hy Robin,
the version is:
the last i think.
I attached the screenshot that show that the order is indipendent to the projects name

Hy Robin,
the problem is that i want this order:
Moby
My problem is the order of the Subproject that are in the same level….
Thanks
Paolo
Hi Paolo,
thanks for clarifying.
This is weird: For me the order is displayed correctly (on 4.0.10):
Do you maybe have some dependencies or status reportings between the projects (even though this shouldn’t have an impact)?
Best regards,
Robin
Hy Robin,
every subproject has the same status reporting “Moby”.
There aren’t dependencies.
Thanks Paolo
