No Avatar-Menu-Entry under "My account"

Hello,
referring to https://www.openproject.org/news/44
i am wondering why I dont have a menu-entry for avatar at all, although having activated it in administration-module.
Running under OpenProject 3.0.0pre44 (Mysql2)
Thanks for any suggestion.

While trying to preview this post: The preview-link does nothing.
Maybe because i have selected a file?

Hi Thomas,

the news refer to OpenProject.org where the plugin was installed on Thursday. Currently the plugin is in a test phase and we will release it soon than you can install it as a rubygem like all other plugins.

PS: The preview-link works gerat for me, I will check if there is a bug with an uploaded file

And it is right that the gravatars i checked in my admin-module are set randomly at the moment?

Hi Thomas,

yes and no, gravatar is a webservice where you can assign an avatar to your email address and websites like openproject.org can use this avatars depending on the email address of the user. Gravatar also delivers a random avatar if they don’t know the email address.

Btw. I tested the preview function and it worked as expected also with a “unprivileged” user and an attached file.
