How can I embed images in a wiki?
Added by Me Two over 10 years ago
Well, the subject says it all.
Relating to my other post “How can I embed and/or reference timelines and meetings into a wiki?” it would be nice to
a) short-term: include all available macros in the wiki FAQ and b) mid-term/4.x timeframe: include buttons on the text
editor field for all relevant macros.
Thanks, Mark

Hi,
first you need to attach a file to the wiki page. Then you can embed the image with the
!!
macro. This also works for various other places (like forum messages).
For example: I’ve attached the file
new_feature.gif
to my answer and embedded it below with!new_feature.gif!
The image insertion thing is documented here: https://www.openproject.org/help/wiki_syntax (search for “Inline images”). For the other macros, you’re totally right, we should document them.
cheers,
Philipp
