In the “work packages” view, via menu “Columns”, custom fields can be selected to be displayed; that’s want i want.
Unfortunately when I leave that page and come back again, the custom fields I have selected aren’t no more selected, and thus aren’t no more displayed.
Am i missing something?

Hello S.Sar,
columns configured via the work package list can be saved as queries (and optionally be added to the side menu).
From what I understand however, you want to change the columns which are displayed by default.
You can do this via the global work package settings. This option can be found in the global administration (by selecting “Modules” > “Administration”) by selecting “Settings” and then going to tap “Work package tracking”.
You can find details in the user guide.
Best,
Robin
Thanks for your response. This would be a workaround since the configuration will apply to all projects, which is not what i really want.
I would like to actually enable and view custom fields depending on the project (by default there is no need to display custom fields). The first hint you mention may be the alternative i am looking for. Can you give me further details?
Thanks in advance.
After you configured the columns in the work package list the way you want them to be displayed (including custom fields), you can save the settings in a query by selecting “Save” from the dropdown menu.
You can then select the query from the title selection. Saving queries allows you to configure different views which you use regularly and may want to share with other users in the project.
If you want to make it easier to access the saved view, you can add the saved query to the side menu by selecting “Share” from the dropdown menu and checking “Show page in menu”.
If other users in the project should be able to see this query as well, check “Page visible for others” in the “Share” modal in the dropdown menu.
You can find further information in this chapter in the user guide.
Best,
Robin
Great, thanks!
